REPLACE MISSING TEETH IN SALMON CREEK AND GREATER VANCOUVER, WA.

IMPLANT CROWN

An implant crown is designed on a single implant titanium post that is surgically placed in natural bone. Once the implant has adhered to the bone and it is stable, Dr. Dane Andersen will place an artificial dental implant crown on to the implant post.  This will allow you to eat, brush & floss, and smile as if you had your own natural tooth.

Steps to completing an implant crown

  • Step 1 – Prepare the implant site for placing the implant. Surgically place the implant into the healthy bone and cover for 4 – 6 months.
  • Step 2 – after follow up visit to measure the success of the bone adhering to the implant 4 – 6 months. If implant is ready complete final impression for implant crown.
  • Step 3 – In 2 to 3 weeks after completing implant crown impression. The final implant crown will be ready to be permanently seated.

IMPLANT BRIDGE

An implant-supported bridge is similar to a regular dental bridge. Instead of being attached to a natural tooth it will be attached to an implant post. An implant crown will be attached to each missing tooth.  Implant supported bridges are great options when missing multiple teeth in a row.  Implant supported bridges are pretty stable and can last a long time with regular routine maintenance.
